Are these two heavy duty substances that we LOVE but also think of as BAD for us?
Truth be told I did NOT, until recently, understand that depending on where your body is FUEL CONSUMPTION wise (ie either burning SUGAR for fuel, or running on FAT) that consuming larger amounts of these items can have a VERY negative impact on the body.
When one is deeply entrenched in a Sugar Burning mode the symptoms that tend to come along are:
- excess weight
- increased hunger
- elevated cravings
- low energy/energetic crashes
And some other common and more compromised characteristics include:
- high cholesterol
- high blood pressure
- hyper tension
- insulin resistance
- fatty liver

- bouts of gout
