FOOD NOISE!

 

Are we familiar with this term or the experience of dealing with it?

 

 

"Food noise refers to excessive and intrusive thoughts about food that can interfere with daily life and eating habitsIt is characterized by: 

 
    • Constant preoccupation with food: Thinking about food frequently, even when not hungry. 
       
    • Intrusive thoughts: Unwanted and persistent thoughts about food that can be difficult to ignore. 
       
    • Hyper-reactivity to food cues: Being overly sensitive to external stimuli related to food, such as smells, sights, or advertisements. 
       
    • Difficulty regulating eating: Struggling to control food intake despite feeling full or having set eating goals. 
       
  • Emotional distress: Feeling anxious, guilty, or ashamed about food choices or thoughts. "

I could many moons ago along with most clients PRE Fat Burning.

 

Dealing with FOOD NOISE is such a PAIN!

 

It takes up so much ENERGY!

 

 

I know my hyper focus on food was not only from anxiety ages ago but also because of my Sugar Burner nature that had me hungry basically always.

 

A Fat Burner who had strayed from the nest for a period of time to try out a Fitness Challenge at her gym stated that the FOOD NOISE had started to creep in based on shifting her diet.

 

And that it was the WORST!

 

 

Also that when her body is solidly in a Fat Burning mode there is NO FOOD NOISE.

 

It's so freeing!

 

The logic of having less hunger, no cravings, steady energy, and even the ability to BE hungry (rumbly tummy) but still feel TOTALLY FINE is amazing!

 

And freeing.
