7 Tips to Lose Fat Fast

Salty, Crunchy, Tasty, Low Carb Snacks

Hello Dear One,

 

If you've either gone, or considered, the low carb route - you might've assumed you also have to forgo some of your favorite foods.

 

Especially the SNACK FOODS.

 

Potato chips, tortilla chips (my favorite), crackers (CRACK to me!), cheese crackers, cheese puffs, french fries, onion rings, pita chips, popcorn, veggie sticks, rice crackers, rice crips, rice cakes, pretzels, plantain chips...

 

Am I missing anything?

 

All these snacks taste SO GOOD!!

 

Additionally they're addictive and an absolute disaster for our waistline.

 

But that doesn't have to be the end of the story.

 

If we love salty and crunchy we love salty and crunchy.

 

We can't not love what we love.

 

So instead of denying ourselves of a fact - let's simply figure out some better options that can create a far more favorable situation for our tastebuds AND the number that's staring back at us on the scale.

 

 

LOW CARB SALTY CRUNCHY SNACKS:

- pickles

- cucumbers with salt

- peppers with salt

- hearts of romaine with salt (and truffled olive oil if desired)

- celery with salt

- nori chips

- olives

- radish chips

- zucchini chips

- carrot fries

- cheese crisps

- pork rinds

- keto/paleo crackers

- salted nuts (measure them!)

- crunchy nut butter

 

I've listed these in the order of most to least benign.

 

More processed snack food of any variety can still pack a punch calorie wise - so please be mindful of that.

 

And obviously the same with foods that are clearly heavy in the realm of fat (nuts and cheese).

 

Another important point to note is that these may BE SNACK FOODS, but we don't actually want to be eating them LIKE a snack.

 

Meaning separate from a meal.

 

Fat Burners know this.

 

 

We don't snack because it raises insulin more than needed resulting is LESS insulin sensitivity (harder to lose weight easier to gain it).

 

So when you DO eat a more supportive, "snack food", like one of the above mentioned items - simply have it WITH your meal.

 

It'll be so much easier to have SOME vs TONS of any given thing.

 

And speaking of meals, if we LOVE salty, crunchy, tasty - why don't we simply aim to make more of our meal fit into those textural and flavor qualities?

 

How about making more of our meal crispy, darker, or blackened?

 

We can sear of meat/fish/chicken quickly so it has more of a crust and then leave it to bake in the oven..

 

We can let the edges of our omelette get a little crispy making it that much more interesting and pleasurable to eat.

 

And one of my favorite things to eat (and ways to make it) is salmon broiled with the skin side UP.

 

I learned this from a Fat Burner who is also a chef and I've never looked back from this approach.

 

This results in a super crispy skin (yes, EAT IT!), and a more rich tasting fish due to fat from the skin running into the flesh.

 

Amazing.

 

And lastly crunchy and sweet might also be an undeniable love in your life.

 

It certainly is in MINE - so I also make a point to have it daily.

 

I personally eat chocolate and peanut butter every day. 

 

I MEASURE such things, but I make sure to have them as my dessert on the regular because I LOVE them.

 

I push Choczero's chocolate chips (and products) on my Fat Burners because they have less calories, more fiber, and are sugar free (sweetened with monkfruit = fine for the gut).  Highly recommend.

 

 

And one more crunchy and sweet treat is Frozen Yogurt Bark.

 

I haven't made this in some time but it is SUCH a WINNER.

 

I've loved this rendition substituting stevia for honey and using white chocolate chips (from Choczero), lemon zest, and shredded coconut.

We will probably never stop loving certain high carb and highly processed treats - but we don't have to.

 

Let's simply USE some of these alternatives for the same qualities we desire and keep the more diabolical stuff to a minimum.
