Hello Dear One!
I'm finding it so hilarious that Fasting is now a topic I've become KNOWN for, as I apparently talk about it a LOT.
But the thing that's possibly surprising for many - is that I don't actually PUSH fasting.
Meaning I don't think it's actually appropriate for ALL people.
Fasting HAPPENS when you've gone through a MITOCHONDRIAL RECONSTRUCTION, you've groomed yourself to solidly use your own body fat for fuel, you have tactics and tools that help in the effort, and you're NOT HUNGRY.
I have to remind myself that everyone isn't a Fat Burner, nor do they FEEL like Fat Burners do.
When you're solidly burning fat AND you've been at it for a number of months - it's NOT crazy to:
- eat once a day
- agreeably go for longer than you expected until your next meal
- FAST comfortably for 36-48 hours (with guidance)
It's not crazy because it feels easy, and often obvious.
What I'm NOT a proponent of is suddenly going without food for FAR longer stretches than you ever have because you now have a sense that it could have benefits.

Fasting like this is HARD and often a shock to the system resulting in your body feeling:
- uncomfortable mineral wise (low energy, headache, light headed)
- HUNGRY (say F it and break your intended fast at an unideal time and with unideal foods)
- DEPRIVED and hungry LATER/next day after you've broken your fast (I call this boomerang hunger = eating LOADS after you fast)
What can also happen when people suddenly decide to eat far less often is they start to set themselves up for a BINGE and FAST CYCLE that is BAD for the body AND the mind.
Plus it turns this HEALING practice into one that feels punitive, restrictive and is rife with emotion.
I AM a fan of FASTing when it feels EASY and OBVIOUS.
But I'm an EVEN BIGGER FAN of undergoing a MITOCHONDRIAL RECONSTRUCTION so you CAN fast comfortably when you desire and when the conditions are right.
ANYBODY can fast when they need or REALLY want to - as we're MADE to do it (we would've perished as a species if we weren't able to).
But to do it in a way where it's not a shock to your system, you can routinely eat less often and comfortably fast for longer stretches as desired for what you desire (see video) - THAT is BEST and SMART.
When you set up your metabolic wiring WELL you end up working SMARTER and not HARDER.
Let's do that please.
